This journal is mostly friends only. I have two filters, one for the adult content and one for everything else. I do make some public posts, but not many.

I have not lived a blessed life, but I have always done my best to make the best of it. My journey here starts at my beginning. "I" began with my first memory, not when I was born or when my parents met or any of those other pseudo-romantic beginnings. "I" did not exist before I can remember existing. A song is not to blame for someone deciding to kill them self, a book is not to blame for someone becoming a mass-murderer, and an on-line journal is not to blame for someone having a bad experience.

If you did not figure it out already,the song "Fingertips" by Poe has meaning to me beyond it being a mere song. It exemplifies a feeling. This feeling dates back to my first memories and extends through the entirety of my childhood into the early stages of being an adult. It has been some years from the time when that feeling was pushed from the spotlight of my life to the forgotten realms of my mind. But that feeling is beginning to creep back into my life, crawling back towards the spotlight.
